Kobi

Barista · One Love Coffee House, Cloverdale

Hi, I’m Kobi! I’m 21 and have been part of the One Love Cloverdale team for nearly three years. What I love most is that this space means something different to everyone—a place for connection, a little caffeine, or a break in the day. Outside the shop, you’ll usually find me reading, writing, or rock climbing.

About the photo: This bird flew into the shop one morning through the drive-through window.

Why Pick First XI

Our mission is to combine the love of sports and coffee to build and strengthen communities at all levels of our business.

We will do this by:

Sourcing high quality coffee beans from local farms in Central and South America at fair trade prices to promote flourishing in their communities.

Supporting local clubs in their fundraising efforts to provide better facilities and scholarship opportunities for players that otherwise might not get to experience all the benefits of participating in sports.

Providing a pathway for coaches to stay in the game by providing a secondary income to support their families without the constant struggle to make ends meet. All too many great coaches are forced to leave doing what they love to provide for their families.  This is not good for the game and not good for our communities.

So we invite you to enjoy a great cup of coffee while supporting a great cause.
